This new segment called Hidden Gems will explore the world of underground music by interviewing young up and coming artists. We will talk with artists who are still early in their career and get a feel of who they are and what kind of music they create. This episode we will be talking with the New Jersey based band, Serendipity. Serendipity consists of 4, 16 to 17 year old boys. We have Josh providing vocals, Joaquin playing guitar, Luke playing bass, and Toby playing the drums. Their music falls into the Indie/Alternative genre, so make sure to check them out. The first song we play before the interview is “How I Feel,” and the second song heard is “Unclear,” both written and produced by the band themselves! After the interview, we will spend time analyzing both songs. We will talk about everything from the guitar layering to their use of vocals.
